There is buses from Borbon to Quito at 11am and 9:30pm daily.
There is buses almost every hour during the day from Borbon to La Tola. You catch the bus (for esmeraldas) for a 25mins to a intersection point where you change buses and head out on a rough road to La Tola (another 1hr 15mins).
